Platform Use & Third-Party Services

Cache Club helps you write, organise and present content that you then publish on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. This page explains exactly how we interact with those platforms — and, more importantly, what we deliberately do not do. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
The short version. Cache Club is a writing and portfolio tool, not an automation tool. It never logs into your social accounts, never posts on your behalf, never scrapes any platform, and never asks for your social passwords. Everything it produces, you copy and publish yourself.
1. What Cache Club does

2. What Cache Club never does
These are hard limits in the product, not just promises:
- We never ask for your social media passwords. If anything claiming to be Cache Club asks for your Instagram or LinkedIn password, it is not us — report it to us immediately.
- We do not log in to your accounts — not with passwords, not with cookies, not with session tokens.
- We do not post, comment, like, follow, connect or message on your behalf. There is no automation of any platform action, anywhere in the product.
- We do not scrape. We do not crawl, harvest or bulk-collect posts, followers, engagement figures, contact details or any other data from any platform, and we do not run unofficial or reverse-engineered APIs.
- We do not import your followers or connections, and we do not build a shadow copy of any platform's social graph.
- We do not sell, resell or redistribute platform data.
- We do not generate fake engagement — no bought followers, no engagement pods, no bots, no vote manipulation.
This is a deliberate design choice. Automated posting and data scraping are prohibited by the terms of every major platform, and building on them would put your accounts at risk of suspension, not just ours.
3. Your responsibilities
Because you are the one publishing, you are the one bound by each platform's rules. When you use content created with Cache Club, you agree that:
- you will comply with the terms of service and community guidelines of every platform you post to — including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X;
- you own or have the right to publish everything you post, including images, video, music and quotations;
- you will not present someone else's work, results or testimonials as your own;
- you will disclose paid partnerships, sponsorships and affiliate links as your platform and your country's advertising rules require — in India, the ASCI Guidelines for Influencer Advertising and the CCPA endorsement rules; in the US, the FTC Endorsement Guides; in the UK, the CAP Code and ASA guidance; and the equivalent where you live;
- you will not use the Service to harass, defame, impersonate, mislead, or spam.
4. AI-generated content
The AI assistant produces drafts. You are the author and publisher of anything you post.
- Read and edit before you publish. AI output can be wrong, generic, or accidentally similar to something else.
- Never publish an AI-invented statistic, result or client name. If a number is going in a post, it must be a real one of yours.
- Several platforms require AI-generated or significantly AI-altered media to be labelled as such. Where that rule applies, follow it — it is your account that carries the penalty.
- Cache Club does not add hidden watermarks or claim authorship of anything you write.
5. Embedded content
When your exported portfolio includes a YouTube or Vimeo link, it uses that platform's own standard public embed player, exactly as documented by them. We use youtube-nocookie.com so a visitor is not given advertising cookies simply for loading your portfolio. Playing an embedded video means the visitor's browser contacts that platform directly, under that platform's own privacy policy.
6. Trademarks and independence
Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. X is a trademark of X Corp. Behance is a trademark of Adobe Inc. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. All other marks belong to their owners.
Cache Club is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any partnership with any of these companies. Their names and icons appear only to identify where your own profiles live.
7. If a platform changes its rules
Platform terms change often. If a change means part of Cache Club can no longer work as described, we will change or remove that part and tell affected users — we will not quietly keep running something a platform has prohibited.
8. Reporting a problem
If you believe something in Cache Club breaches a platform's terms, or if you are a platform operator with a concern, email cache.creators@protonmail.com. We investigate within 2 working days and act on anything substantiated.
